Hello Dolly!
Most federal buildings erect statues to distinguished pioneers in American history. The court house in Sevierville, Tennessee decided it would challenge the tried and true and create homage to the towns true pioneer - Miss Dolly Parton.
Although Dolly did come back to her roots to build a theme park to her greatness in neighboring Pigeon Forge, the locals of Sevierville will forever remember her (and in original proportions) as the barefoot hillbilly with a guitar that changed the world.
