Show Me The Money Honey

Ask anyone who has ever worked in a convenience store and they will probably tell you it is for the dogs. The owners of Crazy D's in South Carolina took that attitude to heart when they put Honey to work.

Honey is a cocker spaniel that may be the hardest working dog in retail business. When not attending the gas pumps the canine cashier can be found taking customer bills to the other side of the counter where she hops up on a chair waits for her payoff. In this case, doggie treats.

Honey is on the job seven days a week, sometimes working twelve-hour shifts. All that running back and forth has done little for her physique. In fact, she looks more like a walking sausage than a prize pooch.

The cocker's chunkiness does not sway her popularity as a doggie diva. The money mongrel is so adored that she has her own postcard. The owners of Crazy D's are more than happy to give them out to visitors who stop by for a demonstration.

Update 6/03:
Back on Tack popped in to check on Honey this month, but arrived before her noon shift had begun. An employee at Crazy D's informed us that the porker pooch, now a five-year-old, was doing well.
