New York City may have been home to the Twin Towers but there is another dynamic duo on the American landscape.

Alabama and South Carolina share similar water towers that look like they must have been separated at birth although built 15 years apart. The peachy pair loom over farms. Alabama's at a height of 120 feet.

Looking head on they look a rear end. A protruding spout at their base has given them the nickname "Peachoid."

South Carolina is so proud of their million gallon monument that they celebrate around it with a yearly peach festival and give out picture postcards at the state welcome center.

South Carolina has always tried to rival Georgia by being "The Peach State" but in 2001 Georgia grew 135 million pounds of peaches compared to the 90 million pounds of South Carolina. That kind of news makes Georgians feel all fuzzy inside.
